Βέβαια η Λουτ από την πλευρά της προσπάθησε να καθησυχάσει τις ελληνοκυπριακές ανησυχίες, λέγοντας ότι μια τέτοια αναφορά δεν θα σημαίνει αναγνώριση δεύτερου κράτους στο νησί και αυτό θα αναγράφεται στην έκθεση που θα κατατεθεί εντός Ιουλίου.
